Chateau Feytit-Clinet, Pomerol, 2007
£28.50
/ Bottle - was £33.00
Chateau Feytit-Clinet is a tiny vineyard at the heart of Pomerol. Jeremy Chasseuil, the winemaker who has been there since 2000, advocates using low yeilds to get the best out of the grapes. Mulberries and blackberries dominate the nose on this 2007 offering, joined by a subtle hint of coffee. It is medium-full bodied on the palate, with well integrated oak flavours and a brilliant purity of fruit. Long, rich, chocolaty finish. Ready to drink in the next 12 months.
