Payments

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or via our online checkout facility.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. 

Shipping And Handling 

Shipping & handling will be added automatically when you place the order.

Delivery is free for all orders with a value of over £250.  Orders under this amount will be charged £7.50 delivery charge for standard delivery.  Any specific delivery requests may incur an extra charge.   

Delivery Schedule

If for any reason items that you have ordered are out of stock and we have to order them in, we will notify you via email or telephone to make sure that the lead time is not inconvenient to you.  Red & White make no guarantee of delivery times or days.  En Primeur orders will be delivered under a different schedule.

Most of our orders are delivered by a third party courier.  If they are unable to deliver them they will usually contact you to arrange re-delivery.  Should they be unable to do this or be unable to deliver a second time you may be required to arrange collection of your order from the courier's depot.  Should the delivery remain unfulfilled after 7 days the order may be returned to our warehouse, in which case we retain the right to pass on any costs incurred in this process or re-delivery 

Back Orders 

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. 

Tax Charges 

20% VAT is added to all orders.  All prices are UK Duty Paid except wines offered En Primeur.  

Credit Card Security 

Your credit card details are sent via an SSL encrypted, secure connection to CardSave, our Tier 1 PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Card details are not stored by us.

Guarantee 

We want to make sure that you are always happy with the wines that you've bought from us. Should you find any wines to be faulty, please return the bottle with the contents to us as soon as possible - the next day is always best, so that we can determine the problem with the wine for our records. We will offer either a full refund or another bottle to the same value.

Privacy Policy 

Red & White Wines Ltd. do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

For the purposes of the prevention or detection of offences, and/or the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, we may share any information that we collect with the Police, other public or private sector agencies or representative bodies in accordance with the relevant legislation. Information shared in this way will not be used for marketing purposes.
